Wireless monster dre headphones offer the convenience of listening without a cord. The base station transmits a wireless signal to the headphones using either infrared, radio or Bluetooth. The three methods have varying reception ranges and qualities. But how can we connect it to laptop?

Charge the S9 headset for at least two hours before attempting to use it with your laptop. To charge the headset, lift the rubber flap located on the part of the headset that rests against the back of your head, and plug one end of the charger into the port and the other end into an electrical outlet. The light will turn green when the headset is fully charged--approximately two hours.

Click your desktop's "Start" button and select the "Control Panel." Click the button "Hardware and Sound." See if you have Bluetooth capabilities. Activate the Bluetooth monster dre by clicking the "Enable" button. If you do not see a Bluetooth option, purchase a USB-to-Bluetooth adaptor at your local computer store. Install the software by inserting the CD and following the prompts. Once installed, enable the Bluetooth adaptor.

Press the power button on your S9 headset for three seconds. This will put the headset into pairing mode and have the headset search for the laptop. The S9 headset light will be blue when it is searching.

Select the "Motorola S9" when your laptop recognizes the connection. Enter "0000" as the pass phrase and save this information. This will allow your laptop and the S9 headset to connect to each other now and in the future.

Turn the monster dre headset on by pressing the power button. Any music or sound will now come through your S9 headphones. Refer to your S9 manual for instructions on how to turn up the volume, mute or adjust the sound settings.
